Thrifty Of The Week #2: @_brianamarshall

Tell us your name, age, where you're from and describe yourself in one sentence. I am Briana, I am 23 years old and live in Berlin, Germany. I’m an adventurous, outgoing and positive person.

Who’s your role model? And why? My role models would have to be my parents. They have taught me that you should always see the positive aspects in every situation and to never give up on your dreams and goals in life. For them, anything is possible if you believe in yourself and put in the work. I will forever live by that motto.

What’s the dumbest thing you believed in as a child? The dumbest thing I believed as a child is that you are not allowed to leave the light on while you are driving a car.

What are your favourite sustainable brands? My favorite sustainable brand is vintage Levi’s. Im in love with denim looks. Having a pair of vintage Levi’s or a denim jacket is a must!

What is your opinion on fast fashion? I think it is very sad that so many people are still shopping from fast fashion brands, especially when they are so many other options. Shopping second hand is even in style now! You are also helping the environment which would have to be the biggest plus when shopping second hand or from sustainable brands.

What comes to your mind when you hear the word individuality? When I hear the word individuality I think of a person expressing who they truly are and who truly embraces it. It doesn’t matter what anybody else thinks about them since they are at ease with themselves they do not care. If you master this mindest, the world is yours.

Tell us something that makes you smile. Basically anything my mom or boyfriend do for me makes me smile because it is genuine and from the heart. The biggest smile I get is when they have cooked food for me, or bought me food. Basically anything related to food and I am the happiest ever.
